🔍 About the Role

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a highly motivated and technically strong Software Engineer II to join their Consumer & Community Banking division. This role focuses on building scalable and secure solutions using Python, AWS (especially Amazon Connect), and modern web technologies.

You will work within a dynamic Agile team to design, develop, troubleshoot, and deploy software components supporting JPMorgan's cutting-edge contact center platforms.

✅ Job Responsibilities

  • 🧩 Execute software development and technical troubleshooting within enterprise systems.

  • 💻 Write secure, high-quality Python code and apply best practices throughout the SDLC.

  • 🛠️ Design and debug software systems considering both upstream and downstream dependencies.

  • 🔄 Apply automation tools from the SDLC toolchain to improve delivery quality.

  • 🔍 Analyze large data sets to help guide development decisions and optimize stability.

  • 🧪 Develop stable, secure code using modern system methodologies and processes.

  • 🌱 Contribute to a positive team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.

🧠 Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 🎓 Formal training/certification in software engineering with 2+ years of hands-on experience.

  • 👨‍💻 Strong experience in Python, especially:

    • AWS Lambda functions

    • Libraries like boto3, Pylint, Pydantic, mypy

  • ☁️ Experience using AWS SDKs/APIs for contact flows and integrations.

  • 🧑‍🔧 Proven experience in application development, testing, system design, and operational stability.

  • 🌐 Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript for front-end development.

  • 📞 Domain expertise in Contact Center technologies, especially Amazon Connect.

  • 📊 Solid problem-solving and analytical thinking with attention to detail.

  • 🤝 Excellent team collaboration and communication skills.

🌟 Preferred Skills

  • 🎨 Familiarity with modern front-end technologies and UI frameworks.

  • ☁️ Broader exposure to AWS Cloud services:

    • AWS Lambda

    • API Gateway

    • DynamoDB

    • S3

  • 🧪 Knowledge of code quality tools like SonarQube for test case management and static analysis.
