🔹 Job Description

Kognivera is looking for trained freshers with practical exposure to Android Native App Development using Kotlin and Android Studio. The role involves building, testing, and deploying Android applications, integrating APIs, and delivering high-performance mobile solutions aligned with modern development practices.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

  • Develop native Android apps using Kotlin and Android Studio.

  • Design user-friendly UI aligned with Material Design Guidelines.

  • Integrate RESTful APIs using Retrofit/OkHttp.

  • Manage local storage (Room Database, SharedPreferences, SQLite).

  • Debug, optimize, and ensure app performance.

  • Conduct unit testing (JUnit, Espresso basics).

  • Work in Agile teams with code reviews & CI/CD.

  • Assist in publishing apps on Google Play Store.

🔹 Qualifications & Skills

Required (Post-Training):

  • Proficiency in Kotlin (OOP, Coroutines, Extension Functions).

  • Hands-on experience with Android Studio IDE.

  • Strong knowledge of UI components – Activities, Fragments, RecyclerView, Navigation.

  • API integration & JSON parsing (Gson/Moshi).

  • Local data storage: Room Database, SharedPreferences.

  • Familiarity with MVVM architecture, LiveData, ViewModel.

  • Git basics (commit, branch, merge, PRs).

  • Knowledge of app signing & Play Store publishing.

Preferred:

  • SQLite knowledge.

  • Experience with Android Profiler for optimization.

  • Good problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a collaborative Agile environment.
