📝 About the Role

Xoom is hiring Frontend Software Engineers who can help build scalable JavaScript applications that support Server-Side Rendering (SSR), are highly available, and can run on edge cache infrastructures.

This is a full-stack aware frontend role, ideal for candidates with foundational to intermediate skills in frontend engineering but also an interest in backend, databases, and scalability.

  • 🧠 Learn internal tools, platforms, and engineering conventions within PayPal.

  • 💻 Develop and test frontend features with scalability and SSR considerations.

  • 🔄 Operate within structured tasks under close mentorship from senior engineers.

  • 🤝 Collaborate with experienced team members and actively adopt their development practices.

  • 🛠️ Write clean, maintainable code following established engineering standards.

    • Version control (Git)

    • Understanding of SSR and frontend-backend integration

  • A learning mindset, ability to work in a collaborative team, and enthusiasm for solving user problems.
