🧑‍💻 Role Overview

As an Associate Software Engineer, you’ll contribute to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of software applications. You will collaborate with engineers, analysts, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions following industry best practices.

✅ Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the design, development, testing, and debugging of software applications.

  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.

  • Translate functional requirements into technical specifications.

  • Assist in the maintenance and enhancement of existing applications.

  • Identify and fix software bugs through debugging and troubleshooting.

  • Participate in code reviews, follow best practices, and provide/receive constructive feedback.

  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery.

🧠 Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • Programming: Proficient in one or more of: Java, C++, C#, Python, or JavaScript.

  • OOP: Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.

  • SDLC Knowledge: Familiar with various software development phases (requirements, design, development, testing, etc.)

  • Version Control: Experience with Git or other VCS tools.

  • Agile Practices: Exposure to Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.

  • Soft Skills:

    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

    • Excellent verbal and written communication

    • Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset

    • Detail-oriented and quality-driven
