💼 Job Summary

Oracle is hiring Software Developers to join their OCI Object Storage team. This role involves building scalable, performant systems for storing and managing unstructured data in the cloud. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining critical components of Oracle's cloud storage infrastructure.

This position is ideal for passionate engineers looking to work on high-impact systems at scale.

🧠 Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software for databases, cloud infrastructure, applications, and tools.

  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, and fellow developers to define technical requirements.

  • Build robust and scalable components, including:

    • Web Servers

    • Storage Nodes

    • Cloud Gateways

    • Bulk Import Tools

  • Take full ownership of software components from concept through production.

  • Review code written by peers and contribute to overall team knowledge.

  • Write unit, integration, and system-level test automation to ensure high code quality.

  • Participate in code deployment and production monitoring.

  • Operate and maintain services that manage massive volumes of data efficiently.

  • Create and maintain design documentation.

🛠️ Key Skills Required

  • Strong proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), preferably Java or C++

  • Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns

  • Experience working on RESTful web services

  • Exposure to storage systems and cloud computing is a plus

  • Knowledge of massively scalable distributed systems is desirable

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and code reviews

  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

  • Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset

🎓 Education Requirements

  • UG: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

  • PG: Postgraduate degree is a plus, but not mandatory
