As an Optics/Photonics Intern, you will be part of the cutting-edge team responsible for developing advanced optical systems for the automotive domain. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about optical design, photonics applications, and emerging technologies in automotive lighting and sensors. π Internship Details:

Location: Sriperumbudur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Tenure: 11 months

Stipend: ₹1,00,000 – ₹2,00,000 per annum (based on publicly available sources)
π§ Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the design and simulation of optical systems using specialized tools.

Support validation of optical components and their integration into automotive systems.

Conduct research on advanced photonics and optical engineering trends.

Perform statistical and tolerance analyses for optical modules.

Participate in internal design reviews and support product optimization efforts.

Collaborate cross-functionally with design, testing, and validation teams.

Ensure adherence to industry standards, project timelines, and quality targets.

Technical:

Strong fundamentals in optics, photonics, or applied physics.

Experience with optical simulation software (e.g., Zemax, LightTools, or similar).
