💼 About the Role – Technical Analyst

As a Technical Analyst at ION, you will play a key role in supporting and implementing ION’s product suite. You will be the voice of the customer—Tier 1 banks, capital market firms, and Fortune 100 clients—ensuring their requirements are addressed while helping shape and improve ION's product offerings.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and functional support to ION customers in live environments

  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across complex systems

  • Implement and deploy ION solutions in collaboration with clients

  • Identify process improvement opportunities and automate routine tasks

  • Work with global teams across time zones in a 24/7 support model

  • Translate customer feedback into actionable insights for internal teams

  • Continuously build your expertise in ION products and financial market workflows

🧠 Required Skills & Competencies

Technical Proficiency

  • Strong understanding of operating systems: Windows / Linux / Unix

  • Proficient with SQL and relational databases

  • Scripting skills in Python, Shell, or similar languages (preferred)

  • Exposure to automation tools and AI/ML concepts is a bonus

Problem Solving & Communication

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

  • Precision and efficiency in resolving complex issues

  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Team & Domain Awareness

  • Team player with proven collaboration skills

  • Knowledge of ITIL, incident management, or client support workflows (advantageous)

  • Understanding of financial markets, capital markets, or trading platforms is a plus
