Role Overview:

We are looking for a passionate Software Development Engineer I (SDE-1) to join our growing engineering team.
You will be involved in designing and building scalable, reliable, and high-performance geospatial software platforms that power millions of daily transactions, ensuring rapid deployments and continuous innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Engineering Design & Collaboration:

  • Assist in designing scalable, secure, and maintainable backend systems for web and mobile applications.

  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers during daily scrums, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to translate user needs into effective technical solutions.

Development & Implementation:

  • Build and operate high-performance software platforms.

  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code to enhance platform functionality and user experience.

  • Participate actively in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.

  • Optimize applications for scalability, low latency, and high performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 0–2 years of experience in software development (internships and projects included).

Must-Have Skills:

  • Proficiency in Python or JavaScript (Node.js).

  • Basic understanding of Relational Databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL Databases (MongoDB).

  • Familiarity with message queue systems such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or AWS SQS.

  • Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Good-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with web scraping or data ingestion pipelines.

  • Exposure to workflow orchestration tools like Airflow or Celery.

  • Interest or background in geospatial applications or satellite data processing.
