πΌ Position: Automation Engineer Associate Analyst
As an Automation Engineer Associate Analyst, you will play a critical role in delivering quality-tested software products. This role offers you hands-on exposure to test planning, automation scripting, defect management, and agile development practices. It’s ideal for freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience and formal training in testing.
π Main Responsibilities

Work across functional and non-functional testing

Test web, mobile, and API-based applications

Write and execute test cases using test management tools

Perform defect tracking, root cause analysis, and reporting
-
Participate in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning and PI sessions
-
Engage in continuous learning of automation tools and practices
-
Collaborate with QA, developers, and business stakeholders globally
-
Ensure adherence to quality engineering best practices
-
Develop skills in tools like Postman, BrowserStack, and test automation frameworks
-
Gain deep understanding of Cigna’s application landscape and delivery pipeline
✅ Required Skills & Qualifications

0–1 year of experience in QA, test automation, or software testing

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any related field

Completed formal training in Functional and Automation Testing

Understanding of software testing life cycle, including test design and execution

Exposure to web and mobile application testing

Knowledge of API testing and tools like Postman
-
Familiarity with test management tools (JIRA or others)
-
Strong skills in functional testing, defect tracking, and reporting
-
Awareness of Agile methodology and continuous delivery practices

Good communication, analytical, and documentation skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Bonus: Knowledge of SQL, programming basics, automation tools, or BrowserStack
