Job Summary:
Amiti Software Technologies is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with 0 to 2 years of experience in Quality Engineering and strong programming skills. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in test automation and scripting. Experience with TestRigor will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
✅ Collaborate with developers and QA teams to identify test scenarios and ensure product quality.
✅ Design, develop, and implement test frameworks and automation solutions.
✅ Analyze test results, report defects, and work on debugging issues.
✅ Ensure continuous integration (CI/CD) and test automation best practices.
✅ Work with various automation tools and frameworks to improve testing efficiency.
✅ Document test cases, results, and automation processes for future reference.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
🎓 Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
💻 Programming Skills: Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
🛠 Test Automation Frameworks: Experience with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
🔗 API Testing: Knowledge of Postman or REST Assured.
⚙ CI/CD Tools: Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.
🤔 Other Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC.
Good to Have (Added Advantage):
✨ Experience with TestRigor or other codeless automation tools.
☁ Exposure to cloud testing platforms (Sauce Labs, BrowserStack, etc.).
📊 Knowledge of performance testing and security testing basics.
🗃 Experience with database testing and writing SQL queries.
