Job Overview

Design power electronic systems and sub-systems, including power converters, inverters, and electronic circuits 

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsibility  –Having good knowledge of Electronics circuit simulation and designing
    • MATLAB, Simulink simulation for power electronics circuit, Model based design,
    • Analog circuit design using op-amp and other electronics components.
    • Deep knowledge of different semiconductors/devices used in a circuit, components like diode, BJT, MOSFET, IGBT, etc. and their switching circuits, Snubber circuits, Gate Driving Circuits, Protection circuits etc
    • Good Knowledge about low and high frequency magnetics design.
    • Experience in HV (High Voltage) and high power designs >2kW
    • Experience in compliance engineering to external standards, such as battery handling, EMC, vehicle safety, functional safety IS026262 etc
    • Hands on experience of working live with HV systems (>400V)
    • Experienced in delivering DFMEA for automotive electronic systems
    • Knowledge of the motor drives and AC/DC, DC/DC, converter circuits, PWM Controllers designing
    • Understanding of various Power Conversion Topologies (LLC, PSFB, PFC, FLYBACK etc.)
    • Knowledge of closed loop control design
    • Understanding of PCB layout design guidelines for Power electronics circuits
    • Working knowledge of digital power control using microcontrollers.
    • Knowledge on DAB, ANPC, PFC etc
    • Working experience on different type of motors and its driver circuits
